Over the last couple of weeks I've wore boxers a few times when out and about and they practically drove me nuts. I just can't get use to the feel of the extra material when wearing pants anymore. Though I still prefer boxers when I'm not wearing pants.

I guess it's one of those things that when you get use to it you can never go back. My girlfriend can't stand wearing regular full cut underwear anymore either. She dreads her period because, among the other things that come with it, she has to wear full cut for almost a week. She is practically ripping her dresser apart in order to get into a thong by the time she is done :p
