We were sitting on a square bench. I was at right angles to her, therefore she had her back to me. I just balanced it on my lap and pressed the shutter. Background noise covered the shutter sound, and I just had to hope passers by didn't notice.

It's not the first one I've captured this way, just the most dramatic.

A Canon EOS 350D (Digital Rebel XT) and a Canon Powershot G5. This one was taken with the G5, which I only use when I can't use the 350D.
