I got a laptop with bluetooth and I know you can browse and take photos off peoples phones but when you do that can the owner of the phone see who is on their phone or what files are being accessed? I ask this because when I go to the cafeteria at my school and search I usually get atleast 5 devices and there are some hoes around here so I'm guessing I could find some good pics.

Im assuming you got a macbook/pro. The only way you can connect is if you use a passcode on the phone and the laptop. Otherwise have fun trying to crack it. Im sure its possible just i dont know how. Have fun

erm there is away, my mate did it to me using his phone once, started stealing stuff off me without me knowing
i think just some phones u can access without password and others u need to password it, but if u try it, try and set ur bluetooth name to something random so theres no way of the girl knowing its u if she notices!

you have to manually turn on the bluetooth on the phone. and you when you connect to a phone it asks them to accept the connection between your pc and their phone.. i have bluetooth on my new dell laptop and my cell .. i transfer shit all the time.. and i can tell you for sure it asks. and if you know these people and your pc's handle is your name.. they know who's trying to get in.. word of caution.. good luck

Err... I have blooover 2 on my mobile which is said to work but i havent had any sucess yet but try and try again. Make sure your not the only one on your phone or lappy while you're trying tho, cos if they notice it will be kinda obvious.

a lot of people dont set there passcodes and usually stay as factory set "0000" or "1234" try those.

Doesn't matter if you know the codes or not - the user still has to grant you permission to access their fone by saying 'agree' or entering a password - either way they know what you're doing. It also asks you to confirm on the fone when you want to send or recieve files before letting you.

The only way you're gonna be able to do it is if they leave their fone lying around!!!!!

As for passwords, the computer / fone often asks you to make up your own for each pairing of a device and you just have to make sure they match on both devices - it isnta password that is then set or remembered!
